Elena Collier-Hezel

Two-Under 23, 2021-22

Finished third in the four with coxswain at the 2022 World Rowing Under-23 Championships. Finished fifth in the four with coxswain at the 2021 World Rowing Under-23 Championships. Won the under-19 four with coxswain and eight at the 2017 Canadian Henley.

Won silver at the 2023 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships. Finished sixth in the second varsity eight at the 2021 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships. Won the second varsity eight at the 2021 Big Ten Championships.

Elena enjoys hiking, film photography, writing, and watching movies. She was introduced to the sport when a friend who was a coxswain at the time told her that she looked like she would be a good rower. Elena went to an open house at her local rowing club in Buffalo, signed up, and immediately fell in love with the sport. Rowed at the University of Michigan from 2020-2022.
