Personal
Isaiah was the 2022 USRowing Under 23 National Team Male Athlete of the Year. Isaiah also enjoys volleyball, spikeball, fishing, and reading. Potatoes are from southern Idaho, but Harrison said that they literally have none in their area. He lists his grandfather as one of his personal heroes. His grandfather was a logger and a miner before passing. Isaiah said he sees his grandfather's hard work and ethics instilled in his father, and it's those same traits he wants to cultivate. Isaiah is a national level speech and debate competitor. He enjoys most outdoor sports including skiing, climbing, mountaineering, backpacking, hiking, swimming, surfing, hunting, fishing, and snorkeling. He clocked a 5:48 2k on the erg at 17 years old and has a 7'2'' wingspan. Isaiah began rowing when his parents bought an erg and he made the mistake of trying it and entering his scores on the Concept2 ranking site. He got hooked on improving. He would like to bring an Olympic men's single sculls gold medal back to the United States after 100+ years.
