Won the mixed quadruple sculls with coxswain at the 2023 Beach Sprints National Team Trials. Finished third in the second varsity eight at the 2021 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships. Won the team title at the 2021 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships. Finished second in the second varsity eight at the 2019 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships. Placed second in the team championship at the 2019 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships. Finished fifth in the second varsity eight at the 2018 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships. Finished seventh in the second varsity eight at the 2017 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships. Won the second varsity eight and team titles at the Big 12 Championships in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021.

Alexa enjoys CrossFit, traveling, and music. Her favorite places to compete are Oak Ridge, Tenn., Sarasota, Fla., and Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas. Her favorite places to travel are. St. Thomas and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
