Finished 16th in the quadruple sculls at the 2023 Under-19 World Rowing championships. Won the under-19 quadruple sculls and eight at the 2022 Canadian Henley. Took third in the under-19 double sculls at the 2022 Canadian Henley.

Finished second in the double sculls at the 2023 USRowing Youth National Championships. Won the youth double sculls at the 2022 Head of the Charles. Finished fifth in the quadruple sculls at the 2022 USRowing Youth National Championships.
Personal
Avery comes from a family of rowers including her grandparents, uncles, great uncle, and both of her parents. Avery said her personal hero is Sophia G Grossman for being the best teammate and friend. Outside of rowing, Avery loves listening to The 1975 and Phoebe Bridgers, as well as hiking, skiing, and traveling.
