George received Saugatuck Rowing Clubs 2023 MVP Award, which recognizes an athletes outstanding efforts and contributions to the team throughout the year. George enjoys golfing, biking, and sailing. George said Erik Spinka, another national team member, encouraged him to try the sport. He also likes listening to Swedish House Mafia, Didier Armeni, and Chris Lake.
