Sandro received the Coaches Award and was recognized for placing in the top 5% of his class based on GPA. He likes cooking and said his personal hero is his coach, Sean Gibel. Sandro said his coach had to work hard and risked a lot for an opportunity to make the lightweight national team in 2013.
