Personal
Jackson received the United States Naval Academy 2022 N150 20 More Award. This award is presented by the coaches to the oarsman that is willing to go 20 or more after everyone else is done. Jackson also received the United States Naval Academy 2023 Faculty Award for Research in Development of Commercial Proteins as Barnacle-Inspired Underwater Adhesives. In addition, he won the 2023 Adhesion Society Best in Show Research Poster Award and is a 2021 and 2023 Intercollegiate Rowing Association first-team All-American. Jackson has been an IRA Scholar Athlete since 2021. When not rowing, Jackson enjoys fishing, cooking, and watching movies. His favorites include Pride and Prejudice and Heat, and he loves listening to Creed. After rowing, Jackson will be serving in the United States Navy and hopes to travel the world, fishing along the way.
