Personal
Jacob was named to the All-American team. He enjoys going to the beach, hiking, and hanging out with his family and friends. He started rowing after a friend pushed him into it his freshman year of high school and served as co-captain in 2019. He enjoys playing guitar and can solve a Rubiks cube. Jacob lists Alex Honnold, the free solo rock climber, as his personal hero as he embodies a mindset that Jacob strives to replicate. His brother, Miles, is a U19 and U23 World Champion, and he won bronze at the 2025 IRA Championships. His favorite musicians are Rufus du Sol, Dominic Fike, and the Beatles.
