Finished fifth in the four at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Finished third in the four at the 2024 World Rowing Cup II. Finished fourth in the four at the 2023 World Rowing Championships. Won gold in the four at the 2023 World Rowing Cup II. Finished fourth in the eight at the 2022 World Rowing Championships. Reached the semifinals of The Remenham Challenge Cup in the eight at the 2022 Henley Royal Regatta. Finished fourth in the four at the 2022 World Rowing Cup II. Finished 13th in the quadruple sculls at the 2008 World Rowing Junior Championships.

Finished second in the pair at the 2023 USRowing Winter Speed Order. Finished third in the pair at the 2022 National Selection Regatta II. Finished seventh in the varsity eight at the 2014 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships. Finished second in the varsity eight at the 2013 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships. Finished fourth in the varsity eight at the 2012 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships. Won the varsity eight at the 2011 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships.

Kelsey enjoys ceramics, home projects, gardening, and cat ownership. She began rowing in 2005 in New Zealand. She lists her parents as her personal heroes because they are smart, hardworking, very independent, and tough people. Kelsey said she is so proud to have them as her parents. After she's done rowing, she would like to travel to Rio, New Zealand, and Austria. She lists Lake Carnegie in Princeton as her favorite place to compete. She enjoys listening to Celine Dion and Pitbull, but not at the same time. Kelsey's sister, Erin, was a multiple-time national team member.
