2024 World Rowing Senior, Under 23, and Under 19 Championships Coverage Page

The 2024 World Rowing Senior, Under 23, and Under 19 Championships takes place August August 18-25 in St. Catharines, Canada.

The U.S. will have boats racing in the men's and women's lightweight single sculls, lightweight quadruple sculls. The U19 crews will be competing in nine of the events including the men's and women’s quadruple sculls, four with coxswain, and eight, as well as the men's single sculls, double sculls, and pair. The U.S. will have crews competing in 15 of the U23 events including the men's and women's single sculls, double sculls, quadruple sculls, four with coxswain, and eight, as well as the men’s pair, men's and women’s four, lightweight men’s single, and lightweight men’s pair.

Of the 88 athletes on this year's roster, 45 have been on previous national teams. The roster is made up of athletes from 26 states. California leads the way with 21 athletes, followed by Pennsylvania with 13.

At the 2023 World Rowing Under 23 Championships held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, the U.S. won five medals including two golds, one silver, and two bronze medals. The U.S. ranked fifth in the medal table and finished in a tie for third in total medals. Eleven athletes return from the 2024 U23 squad. At the 2023 World Rowing Under 19 Championships held in Paris, France, the U.S. won one gold medal in the women’s four with coxswain.
