Applications Are Open for the 2027 USRowing Honor Roll
USRowing has opened applications for the 2027 USRowing Honor Roll, recognizing student-athletes who demonstrate excellence both in the classroom and on the water.
The annual Honor Roll celebrates rowers who have balanced the demands of academics and athletics while exemplifying the dedication, discipline, and commitment that define the sport. The 2027 Honor Roll features two award categories recognizing outstanding academic achievement:
- The First Team Award recognizes student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA or higher.
- The Second Team Award recognizes student-athletes with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99.
Beyond the Boathouse Award
To recognize pursuits beyond rowing, USRowing is debuting the Beyond the Boathouse Award. The Beyond the Boathouse Award recognizes excellence in community service, leadership, professional development, or other creative and intellectual passions. Student-athletes must nominate themselves within the application to be considered for this award.
Eligibility Requirements for Honor Roll
- Must be an active and compliant USRowing member on the date applied, with a Basic membership at minimum and signed membership agreement on file.
- Minimum average GPA of 3.5 in their academic junior year.
