Education
New Year, New You
USRowing is thrilled to announce a new series of online courses dedicated to advancing education, coaching, and safety in rowing. Designed for rowers, coaches, and administrators of all experience levels, these courses empower participants to grow and excel, whether they’re learning the basics or seeking advanced insights.
Each course is crafted by experienced professionals, covering essential topics such as the American Development Model, water safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and conflict resolution training. Coaches can benefit from specialized training on supporting athletes with diverse needs, including mental health challenges, neurodiversity, and cancer recovery. As we strive to make rowing more accessible and inclusive, our safety course is now available in English and Spanish and coaches and club administrators can learn how to support adaptive athletes with our new course launched today. Classes are available through the membership portal, and members aged 13 and older can access these courses. Accessible anytime, anywhere, our platform ensures you can learn at your own pace while prioritizing your growth and safety on the water.
“These new classes represent our commitment to equipping our community with the skills, discipline, and information to excel—both on and off the water,” said Chris Furlow, Director of Learning and Development at USRowing. “The Launch will continue to produce educational courses that make our sport safer and stronger.”
Join us today and take the first step toward becoming a more skilled and knowledgeable member of the rowing community.
