U.S. Para Crews Set to Compete at World Cup II in Varese, Italy
The United States will field two Para crews at World Cup II, taking place June 13–15 in Varese, Italy. In addition to the Para national team entries, several crews from the U.S. senior national team will also compete. Lineups for the senior team will be announced in June.
Returning to international competition are two members of the silver-medal-winning PR3 mixed four with coxswain from the Paris Paralympics, Emelie Eldracher and Ben Washburne. They will be joined by Paralympic alternate Max Allemeier, as well as Annabelle Miller and Sarah Menefee.
In the PR1 Men’s Single Sculls, Andrew Mangan returns to represent the U.S. Para national team, having competed in this event at both the 2022 and 2023 World Rowing Championships.
