USRowing Para Classification Opportunities in 2026

Looking to compete in Para rowing events in 2026? Classification is the next step for new Para athletes, and those with a classification status of “review” for 2026. USRowing offers multiple opportunities for athletes seeking Para rowing classification and opportunities to compete as we expand access to Para and adaptive rowing at all levels.

Requirements: 

• A completed Medical Diagnostics Form, filled out and signed by a physician.
• Submit a Classification Request Form as soon as possible once you have your completed Medical Diagnostics Form, and at least 60 days prior to the classification event in which you intend to compete as a para rower 
• Receive a secure dropbox link where you can upload your MDF and all relevant supporting medical documentation and/or images.
• USRowing will schedule your classification or request further documentation to confirm the eligible impairment.
