Talent Identification & Development

USRowing collects erg scores for all athletes who want to be considered for the National Team. Scores will be considered for discretionary invitations to selection camps. USRowing expects athletes to submit at least one 6k and one 2k during the 7-month period in which the data will be collected. If an athlete wishes to submit scores, it must be submitted before the last day of the month and will be reviewed within the next seven days.

Erg Testing Requirements

All athletes submitting times must be United States citizens.
Testing must be done on a stationary C2 ergometer.
Results must be able to be verified by a coach and their contact information must be provided.
All erg tests will be listed as open rate. If athletes submit scores that were rate capped, they may indicate so on the submission form but the rate cap will not be posted.
