Direct Athlete Support & Elite Athlete Health Insurance

There are three levels of support athletes receive as stipends during eligibility periods.

1. Performance A: Stipends awarded will be $2,000/month.
2. Performance B: Stipends awarded will be $1,000/month.
3. Training: Stipends awarded will be $1,000/month.

Athletes who meet the criteria linked below are awarded direct athlete support (DAS) and are eligible for elite athlete health insurance (EAHI). Funds are typically distributed during the first week of every month by the USOPC.
