Personal
Troy is a 2023 IRAC All-American who enjoys playing Fortnite, cooking, drinking coffee, playing with cats, Pokemon card collecting, and watching the Cincinnati Bengals, especially Joe Burrow. He can also speak Zulu. Troy began rowing because his parents wanted him to participate in sports, and his best friend, Dylan Fagiani, rowed, so he decided to give it a try and loved it. He names one of his personal heroes as Matt Muffleman, who he said helped him develop into the rower he is today. Muffleman shared his experience on the national team and inspired Troy to do the same. Troy's favorite song is Night Moves by Bob Seger, his favorite band is Backseat Lovers, and his favorite show is Rick and Morty. Troy needs a Noosa Frozen Yogurt Gelato pint as part of his pre-race ritual.
