Personal
Kory enjoys playing basketball and chilling out with the guys. He began rowing after his family moved from New York to Texas. Kory and his sister tried it out, and he ended up joining the team about two weeks after that. Kory's personal heroes are his coach and his coach's wife, Michael and Jan Rosman, who he got to know and love throughout his six years rowing in Texas. They were very welcoming when he first tried out rowing and that's part of the reason why he really joined the team in the first place. The Rosmans are volunteers and started Parati with the motive of giving back to the community and trying to help shape kids' futures. Kory said they have shaped his life in a very special way through the years and in the process have turned into his second set of parents.
