Personal
Sera was named to the CRCA First Team in 2017 and 2018 and the All-American First Team in 2018. She works as an on-screen athlete at Hydrow, filming rowing workouts. She enjoys spending time with her dog, Pepper, riding her bike, discovering new coffee shops and bakeries, and taking on baking projects. Before college, she was a competitive rock climber and a member of the junior U.S. national team. She retired from climbing during her freshman year of college and realized how central being an athlete was to her identity. Encouraged by a high school friend who had recommended rowing for years, she walked onto the team at Tufts during her sophomore year. Her favorite band is Spruce. She is grateful to the many people who have supported her path to the national team.
