Personal
Sera was named to the CRCA First Team in 2017 and 2018 and was named to the All-American First Team in 2018. She works as an on-screen athlete at Hydrow, so outside of rowing, she is also filming rowing workouts. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Pepper, riding her bike, and discovering new and exciting coffee shops and bakeries. Up until Sera went to college, she was a competitive rock climber. She retired from climbing my freshman year of college, and for that brief time without sport in her life, she realized that being an athlete was quite central to her identity, and that she would be much happier on a sports team. One of her best friends in high school was a rower and had been suggesting that she give it a try for years. She finally listened and walked onto the team at Tufts her sophomore year. Sera's favorite band is Spruce.
Thank you to the many people over the years who have supported my path to this team. It was not long, but I was never alone.
