James Fetter

Three-Under 23, 2024-2025; Senior, 2026

Finished tenth in the quadruple sculls at the 2025 Under-23 World Rowing Championships. Finished eighth in the men's single sculls at the 2024 Under-23 World Rowing Championships.

James was named a 2025 All-American 1st team, 2025 Conference 1st team, and a four-time Conference Academic Honor Roll. He currently attends Oxford University. He was a member of Stanford’s Chamber Music. He plays the piano. He was an IRCA Scholar-Athlete and was named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll. James was captain of his high school swim team and part of his high school-record 200 free relay squad. He walked on at Stanford. Both his parents were collegiate rowers. He enjoys playing board games, frisbee, and cycling.
