Lyle majors in Geography: Data Science. He won the Richard G. Erickson Award as the team's top walk-on. He was named IRCA Scholar-Athlete in 2024 and 2025. He won the IRCA Novice of the Year for 2024. He ran track in high school and won nine medals at the state championship level. His father rowed at Wisconsin.
