Board of Directors Highlight - Matt Hughes

Matthew (Matt) Hughes serves as Treasurer on the USRowing Board of Directors Executive Committee. He attended the University of Michigan, graduating in 2004. After learning to row there, Hughes was invited to the Princeton Training Center. He went on to represent the United States at three World Rowing Championships from 2005 to 2007. His National Team career culminated in his selection to the 2008 Olympic Team in the men's quad.

In 2008, Hughes joined One Equity Partners and now acts as a Director based in Chicago. During his tenure at OEP, he worked on numerous investments in the healthcare, technology, energy and manufacturing industries. He is a member of the Board of Directors of NuArx, Merfish, W.W. Williams, Intren and PS Logistics. Hughes was also involved in OEP's realized investment in Anvil. Prior to joining OEP, he worked at Karr Barth Private Client Group in private wealth management. He received his B.B.A. in Finance and Computer Information Systems from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with Distinction.
