USRowing Board Names New Chair, Officers
USRowing is pleased to announce its newly elected slate of officers for the Board of Directors, which were selected at this past weekend's quarterly meeting.
Nobuhisa Ishizuka, who is in his second term on the board as an at-large director, was selected as the new board chair and president. Ishizuka previously served as the board secretary.
Joe Manion, who is in his second term as the Mid-Atlantic regional representative, will take over for Ishizuka as the secretary, while Matt Hughes, the Midwest regional representative, has been selected as the new treasurer.
The three join women's vice chair Marcia Hooper and men's vice chair Greg Benning in board leadership roles.
USRowing would like to thank Marcia Hooper for her outstanding leadership as Board chair over the past four years. USRowing also would like to thank our outgoing board members – Darlene Disney, Charlie Haight, Nick LaCava and Jamie Redman – for their dedicated service to the organization.
"I'm honored and humbled by the confidence placed in me to lead this talented board," Ishizuka said. "It has come a long way under the leadership of Marcia Hooper.
