USRowing Announces 2026 World Rowing Under 23 Championships Roster

USRowing is pleased to announce the roster for the 2026 Under 23 National Team, which will represent the United States at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Duisburg, Germany, from July 23-26.

The U.S. will compete in 14 events, including the men's and women's single sculls, pairs, quadruple sculls, fours, and eights, as well as the lightweight men's and women's single sculls and the lightweight men's double sculls.

At the 2025 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Poznań, Poland, the United States won three medals—one gold and two silver. Eleven athletes from last year's squad return to the U23 National Team, including Ella Wheeler and Joely Cherniss from the silver medal-winning women's eight, Timothy Parsons from last year's men's quadruple sculls, and five-time national team member Kian Aminian. Cillian Mullen returns to the international stage in the women's single sculls after placing ninth in the event at the 2024 World Rowing Under 23 Championships. Five athletes from the 2025 Under 19 National Team moved up to the U23 squad this year, including 2025 U19 Athletes of the Year Tony Madigan and Claire Van Praagh.
