Grace used to play soccer but her older sister tried out for the rowing team her freshman year of high school and encouraged her to try out as well. She admires Coach Stephen Whelpley because he has helped her become the rower and person she is today. Grace won the 2017 Freshman MVP Award at Wisconsin.
