U19 High Performance Winter Camp

Camp Description

USRowing will host two 2025 U19 HP Winter Camps with the purpose of identifying and developing athletes for the 2025 U19 National Team. These camps will be by invitation only and will accept applications for admittance to camp from October 15 to December 15, 2024. Athletes admitted to camp will participate in small boat training, physiological testing (lactate step test) and a U19 Winter Speed Order. Athletes with the goal of being selected to the 2025 U19 National Team that will compete at the 2025 World Rowing Championships are HIGHLY encouraged to apply.

Application Deadline: 

November 26, 2024

Camp Dates: 

  • Camp I: January 3-6, 2025
  • Camp 2: January 17-20, 2025

Camp Location: 

Chula Vista, CA

Camp Price: 

$695 per athlete

  • Included: Room and board, local transport, equipment, coaching, testing, etc.
  • Not Included: Travel to and from Chula Vista, CA

Log in to your USRowing member portal HERE

  • Once logged into your account select "Camps" from the lefthand menu
  • Click "Apply" to U19 HP Winter Camp
  • Update all Athlete Metrics 
  • Click "Submit"
  • Answer/update additional question
  • Click "Submit"
  • Accepted athletes will be notified no later than December 6, 2024

Coxswains: Please submit your additional materials (race recording, etc.) by completing this FORM. Please instruct your current Head Coach to submit your recommendation from by completing this FORM.

Scholarship: USRowing has limited funds available for U19 HP Winter Camp through the United We Row Scholarship Program. To apply please fill out this FORM. This application is separate from the HP Winter Camp application located in the member portal.
