United We Row Mentorship Program
The United We Row mentorship program is for coaches, historically underrepresented in rowing, looking to enhance their skill set and facilitate relationships with each other through various types of mentorship.
USRowing will help connect you with a more experienced mentor coach, either virtual or in your area. This program will run over five months and include monthly professional development opportunities.
Program Objectives
- Developing coaching skills through mentorship opportunities
- Promote a sense of belonging and engagement among cohort
- Collaborate and share best practices to grow their knowledge based
- Provide resources to utilize as a coach
- Discuss barriers in coaching and strategies to manage
About the Applicant
- Mentors are coaches eager to assist another coach during their journey, providing guidance and advice to help their mentees learn and grow professionally. You must be Level 2 Coaching certified.
- Mentees are coaches who have either previously taken or will enroll within three months to complete Level 2 Coach Education and wish to advance professionally.
