15 Crews Set to Compete at World Rowing Cup II in Bulgaria
Fifteen U.S. crews will take to the water this weekend at World Rowing Cup II in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Racing begins Friday, June 12, and runs through Sunday, June 14, with U.S. athletes competing against some of the world's best rowers.
Competition opens Friday with heats and preliminary races, followed by semifinals, C finals, and the men's and women's eight preliminary races on Saturday. The regatta concludes Sunday with A and B finals.
Last year, the U.S. won seven medals during the World Cup series. Of the athletes participating in World Cup II, 11 were on the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic teams.
